Photos for People Who Hate Photos

If the idea of an engagement session makes you uncomfortable, awkward, or tense—you’re exactly who this is for.

This might be YOU if you’ve said…

“We’re Awkward.”

“We don’t know what to do.”

“We just want this to feel normal.”

“We don’t know how to pose.”

If you’ve said any of that out loud (or in your head), you’re not alone—and you’re not difficult.

This isn’t a performance.

I’m offering a complementary engagement session

to a couple who…

Feels uneasy about photos

  • Wants something simple and pressure-free

  • Values honesty over perfection

This isn’t about going viral or “winning.”

It’s about making one experience feel easy.

What this session IS…

Lightly Guided When Helful

NOT stiff posing or forced interactions. I make this fun, interactive and basically become the awkward third wheel so you can be yourselves.

Built around movement and conversation

I won’t tell you to “act like you’re in love,” or force chemistry that doesn’t exist. I’m pretty good at finding pockets of light and making people giggle.

Mostly Observational

Don’t worry; this isn’t a personality test that you didn’t study for — and you don’t need to bring the energy or know what to do. Just show up! I got the rest.

Why me?

Hi, I’m Michelle.

I work with couples who don’t want to perform for the camera. My approach is calm, observational, and human—because most people don’t relax when they’re being directed every second.

My job isn’t to make you into someone else.

It’s to create enough ease that you forget about the camera altogether.
